TP (Tandem perfector)

The RMGT 10 TP is a unique tandem perfector press on which the reverse-side printing units are connected to a straight printing press via a special translink unit. After printing the reverse side, the front side is printed without the need to reverse the printed sheets, eliminating various limitations typically associated with perfecting. This also makes it possible to perform perfecting on heavy stock. UV perfecting is also possible by equipping the translink unit with a UV curing unit, providing high-grade printing with no difference in printing quality between the front and reverse sides.

  • Special translink unit smoothly transfers sheets from the reverse-side printing units to the front-side printing units without turning the sheets over
  • Sheet transfer is performed without changing the gripping side, so plate making position is the same for the front and reverse sides
  • Virtually no fan-out, so front and reverse register precision is comparable to that on a straight press
  • Configuration can be freely selected from among 1 to 5 reverse-side printing units and 1 to 5 front-side printing units according the job requirements
  • Paralle processing of printing procedure shortens make-ready time approximately 20-40% compapred to previous presses.

RMGT 970 — A1-Plus Size Offset Presses

 

The upgraded A1 plus-size 970 model builds on the high performance and reliability of the A1-size 920 and 940 models. With a maximum paper size of 650 x 965 mm (maximum printing size: 640 x 930 mm), it can comfortably handle a wide range of applications including multi-page jobs, multi-up printing for packages, and posters. Equipped with a benderless clamping system and a user-friendly touch panel, the RMGT 970 offers increased productivity and shorter lead times.

  • The 970 model handles a maximum sheet size of 650 x 965 mm, and perfecting is possible with sheets up to 650 mm vertically.
  • Compared to B1-size (40-inch) format presses, the 970 model has significantly lower plate costs, lower power consumption and smaller footprint
  • Convertible perfectors enable perfecting at up to 15,000 S.P.H. for higher productivity. Installing LED-UV curing units at the perfecting device and delivery section makes one pass instant-drying perfecting possible
  • Continuous printing of multiple short-run work without sampling printed sheets is possible with Smart Assist Printing function (currently under development)

RMGT 920 — A1-Size Offset Presses

 

The 920 model is an A1 size offset press for sheet width up to 920 mm (900 mm printing area). This model enables printing of international A1-size posters as well as 8-up printing both international A4-size and letter-size.
With various superior features such as high speed 16,000 s.p.h. printing*, one-pass perfecting printing up to 8 to 10 color and in-line coating capability, the press can meet the diversified need of printing companies.
*For straight printing. During perfecting the max. printing speed is 13,000 s.p.h.

  • Capable of 8-up printing of international A4 size or letter size

RMGT’s press information cloud is a management tool that uses IoT technology to enable «visualization» of printing operations to help printing companies increase their productivity. By connecting the presses in a print shop via a network, the press information cloud gathers data on press operating conditions for central management and analysis in order to identify parameters for improving printing processes.
Error history tracking also makes it possible to identify the causes of any problems.

From commercial printing to package printing, a high-precision inline camera inspects printed sheets with superior reliability

The PQS-D employs a CCD camera installed on the press for inline quality control of printed sheets, eliminating the need to sample sheets. Defective sheets are automatically sorted out, enhancing quality assurance and further automating printing.
The PQS-D system’s basic quality inspection function can be expanded to include a printing density tracking function and an automatic register adjustment function to meet specific needs. The multifunction PQS-D system lets you perform 3 key functions inline on a single press.

Automated guided vehicle Nipper

The Nipper is a compact automated vehicle for unmanned internal pallet transport in printing factory. Nipper moves in the printing press for supplying paper pile to feeder and removing printed sheets pile from delivery to transport it to postpress section.
Installation and connection of roller conveyor to press are not needed, so factory layout and transport line can be flexibly changed.
Waste time between production process is eliminated, greatly reducing operator’s labor for paper transport work.
